The department of Animal Sciences of UOK is the first and oldest faculty of the Agriculture Faculty, which started its work in the field of Animal Production Technology in 1992 with the admission of associate level students. With 11 faculty members and specialized laboratories and livestock and poultry farms, the department is of a high level of ranking in educational and research issues in various fields of animal sciences including management and economics, livestock and poultry nutrition, breeding and nutrition, and optimizing the production programs.

  • Animal Nutrition Lab: Approximate analysis of food is conducted in this laboratory, including dry matter, ash, fat, fiber, ADF, NDF, protein, phosphorus, calcium, milk fat percentage, milk acidity, etc.
