University Administration

Executive Offices boost the University's mission by providing quality services.

Office of the Chancellor

Offers leadership to the University's quest of its mission to transform the way people think and do things through education, research and service to realize its vision to develop into a worldwide knowledge initiative.

Office of the Vice-Chancellor of financial and administrativ

Creates, develops, executes and reviews corporate policies, procedures, processes and projects and administers the corporate cluster to deliver operational and effective managerial services for the University.

Office of the Vice-Chancellor Research & Technology

Establishes policies for research, manages the allocation of research funding and builds research excellence at UOK.

Office of the Vice-Chancellor Campus Infrastructure

 In charge of space and physical planning, physical resource administration and maintainable expansion in the University. It supervises the offices of Estate Development; Safety, Health and Environment.

 

Secretariat of the  Board of Trustees

Offers secretariat and administrative support to the Board of trustees and coordinates and organizes Board meetings, and events involving the Board of Trustees.

Office of Admissions

Manages affairs concerning the admission of undergraduate students.

Office of Alumni Relations

Encourages and fosters relations with alumni; facilitates networking among alumni, students and UOK.

Office of Campus Security

Devoted to deliver the campus community a very protected and secure environment for work and study.

 

Computer Centre

.Enables and assists campus-wide IT resources

 

Office of Human Resources

Employs, manages and develop human resource strategies, measures and practices.

 

Instructional Technology

Delivers a vigorous and supportive environment for the exploration, development and application of digital technologies to improve teaching and learning.

International Relations Office

Initiates and assists collaborations with foreign institutes.

Office of Legal Affairs

Offers legal advice to the Board, chief management, academic, managerial and research units of the University , and Represents the University in all legal affairs

UOK Enterprise

Encourages the essence of innovation and enterprise within the UOK community, and produces value from University resources via Experiential Education and Industry Engagement.

UOK Entrepreneurship Centre

Encourages the spirit and practice of entrepreneurship among UOK students, professors, researchers and alumni.

UOK Industry Liaison Office

Retains, manages and commercializes UOK intellectual property and technologies, elevates university-industry research partnership.

UOK Libraries

Delivers library facilities and administration.

UOK Press Ltd

Runs Kurdistan University Press, which publishes academic books. It also explores new avenues for publishing and disseminating the research output of UOK.

Registrar's Office

 

Directs academic matters including student records, degrees
and course outline, exams, and student regulation.

Office of Resource Planning

Planning the resources and budget distribution, including devising, assessing and examining the University's running, calculated and capital budgets, paying and fee policies.

Office of Student Affairs

Nurtures a lively and well-adjusted student life through broad student support services such as student activities, career planning, student housing and residential life, international student services and sports and recreation.

University Health Centre

Offers wide-ranging patient medical care and counseling services for students and staff.
